The Rio Grande Deposits consist of the Três Estradas, Joca Tavares, and Porteira carbonatite-hosted phosphate and the Cerro Preto sediment-hosted phosphate. These deposits are located in a farming region some 350 km from the State Capital Porto Alegre.
Aguia has staked 23 tenements, totalling 34,000 hectares, within the prolific Rio Grande Copper Belt. Mineralisation is hosted in a 100km long x 60km wide belt with historical production from Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) deposits.
The Lucena Phosphate Project (“LPP”) covers about 35,000 hectares (~350km2) all located within a 50km radius around the city of João Pessoa, capital of the Paraiba State in northeastern Brazil.
